The Start (16"x20", Matted)

$185.00

Sometimes, I like taking a different path up the mountain. On this morning, my optimism increased as the conditions looked similar to one of my favorite evenings up at Summit on Mt. Tam. When I arrived, I was wrong. The low fog wasn’t low enough, my view was obstructed, and my plan lost to reality. However, as I put the camera away, and took in the moment, the level dropped a small amount, and a light went on. Both figuratively in my mind, along with literally in a house amongst the trees. The composition painted itself, and I was right where I needed to be for a fresh start.
